‘Silver Anniversary’ is a wonderful Camellia, that is ready to flower from January to April. It generates an abundance of semi double, pure white blooms, that each feature a prominent yellow centre. Cloaking a bushy growing habit of deep green foliage, this hardy shrub is fantastic for creating a striking focal point and will sit well in cottage and low maintenance themed gardens. Happy to develop in semi shade, watch it thrive to a height and spread of 250cm. Elegant white flowers with a central cluster of golden stamens make a dazzling display from late Winter onwards. The loose, peony-like blooms of Camellia japonica ‘Silver Anniversary’ sparkle like snowflakes against a backdrop of glossy, dark green foliage. Camellia plants require a moist, well drained, acid soil in a sheltered, shaded position. In areas where acid soil does not naturally occur, grow Camellia plants in patio containers using a mix of ericaceous compost and John Innes No. 3 and position in dappled shade.
