Tetradium daniellii, commonly known as the Bee-bee tree, is a striking flowering tree native to Korea and China. This fast-growing species features a broad, rounded canopy of glossy, pinnate leaves that turn a vibrant yellow in the fall. In late summer, it produces fragrant panicles of small, star-shaped white flowers, which attract a variety of insects. By autumn, these blossoms give way to clusters of red fruit. With its year-round appeal and seasonal interest, Tetradium daniellii makes an excellent specimen tree. It can reach a height of 12 meters (40 feet) and a spread of 8 meters (26 feet). An unusual, flowering tree native to Korea and China. Grow in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
