‘Nightfall’ is a stunning new Cornus, that is much adored for its rich maroon Autumnal foliage. Appearing as a zingy green in the Spring, it will provide you with year-round interest and boast a bushy growing habit, along with striking red stems. Great for working within spacious borders, cottage and wildlife gardening schemes, it would also create a wonderful hedge. Happy to develop in semi shade, watch it thrive to a height and spread of 1.5m. The darkest Cornus, ‘Nightfall’ offers all-year interest with colourful foliage throughout the growing season plus striking winter stems. Plant Dogwood into garden borders in any moist, well drained garden soil. Grow in full shade or part shade, neutral to acid soil. Cornus can also tolerate damp soils or an exposed position.
