Hedera Helix Glacier is a robust, evergreen climber that quickly ascends walls and fences, making it an excellent choice for covering unsightly areas. With its tidy growth habit, it serves as a beautiful backdrop for other plants and shrubs in the garden, while also providing valuable shelter for birds and wildlife. This hardy climber is self-supporting, as its aerial roots easily cling to surfaces, so no extra support is needed. The foliage is particularly striking, featuring dark green and silvery-grey leaves with bold cream-coloured edges. A versatile plant, Hedera Helix Glacier thrives in both sunny and partially shaded locations. Please note: it can be toxic. Height: 2.5m (98″). Spread: 1m (39″). Grow Ivy in any moist, well drained garden soil in a sheltered position, in full sun or partial shade. Ivy will perform especially well on alkaline soils, although plants are also tolerant of a wide range of different soil conditions.
