A fantastic Peony variety that will bring glamour to borders and large containers. ‘Miss America’ produces distinctive semi-double white blooms that contrast beautifully with the golden stamens, creating a showy display against the dark green foliage. The perfect addition to sunny perennial borders, Japanese gardens or white planting schemes. If you can spare some these fragrant blooms will make dazzling cut flower bouquets in early Summer. Height: 90cm (36″). Spread: 100cm (39″). Grow peonies in a sunny or semi shaded position. They prefer a well drained, rich fertile soil. This is best achieved by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or compost to the soil prior to planting, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Plant herbaceous peonies at a depth of around 5cm (2″) below the soil surface. Planting too deeply may delay flowering.
