‘Petite Perfume White’ is an elegant Philadelphus, that is ready to flower from June until August. It produces a profusion of pearly white, four petalled blooms, that each feature a prominent yellow stamen. Cloaking an upright bushy growing habit of fresh green foliage, this hardy shrub would make the perfect specimen plant and sit well in a scented, cottage or wildlife gardening scheme. Happy to progress in dappled shade, enjoy its sweet scent and watch it attract lots of pollinating insects. It will develop in height to 1.2m and will spread to around 60cm.
Philadelphus ‘Petite Perfume White’ boasts hundreds of fragrant flowers for no less than 6 weeks over the summer, and is perfect for low maintenance, urban gardens.
Grow Philadelphus plants in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Mock Orange plants at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
