‘Flower Arranger’ is a beautiful Rhododendron, that blooms from April until May. It generates bundles of trumpet-shaped, lilac-pink flowers, that smother a neat, compact growing habit of glossy green foliage. Perfect for planting in woodland and low maintenance gardening schemes, it also looks wonderful in modern patio pots and colourful borders. Happy to grow in semi shade, watch it progress to a height of 50cm, along with a spread of 60cm. Grow Rhododendrons in moist, well drained, acid soil that has been enriched with plenty of well rotted organic matter. Choose a position in semi or dappled shade with shelter from cold drying winds. Many dwarf Rhododendrons can cope with a sunny position provided that the soil remains reliably moist. Where soil conditions are alkaline, Rhododendron plants are best grown in patio containers, using a mix of ericaceous compost and a soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Rhododendrons are surface rooting so it is important to avoid planting them too deeply.
