Orange Sunrise is a distinctive columnar variety of Berberis, known for its eye-catching foliage that unfolds in spring. The young leaves start off a vibrant red, gradually deepening in colour and developing a golden-yellow edge as the plant matures. This striking shrub makes an excellent choice for a colourful hedge. It blooms in spring, from April to May. Mature height and spread reach 90-100 cm. Plant Berberis in full sun or partial shade, on a reliably moist, well-drained soil. Barberry plants are extremely resilient and will grow on many different soil types, except waterlogged.
