‘Fire and Ice’ is a great new Bergenia, that is ready to bloom from March until May. It produces masses of dainty white flowers, that each feature bold red calyces. Its clump forming habit of fleshy green leaflets makes a wonderful contrast and will provide superb ground cover. Plant within woodland, cottage and wildlife gardening schemes and keep in the shade for a maximum height growth of 40cm, along with a spread of 50cm. Bergenia ‘Fire & Ice’ bears white, bell-shaped flowers with contrasting dark pink calyces creating a pretty spring display from March to May. Plant Elephant’s Ears in any well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Bergenia will cope with clay soils very well too.
