Butomus umbellatus is a great hardy perennial, that is ready to bloom from August to September. It produces delicate sprays of baby pink flower clusters, that elegantly decorate a clump forming habit of fresh green foliage. Each spear-shaped leaflet gracefully creates natural movement, adding texture and life into your garden. Ideal for planting in bogs and water gardens, keep it positioned in direct sunlight where it will develop to a height of 150cm, along with a spread of 45cm. Grow Butomus in boggy soil or submerged in water to a maximum depth of 25cm (10″) below water level. Choose a position in full sun.
