A stunning winter flowering hardy perennial that will really brighten up your garden from December to March. Helleborus Niger boasts beautifully large white blooms that show a hint of pink and green that will darken as they mature. Great for planting in your shady garden borders and winter pots, this hellebore will be sure to please year after year.
Plant hellebores in neutral or alkaline soil, in dappled shade. Hellebores prefer a moist, humus rich, fertile soil that does not dry out in summer or sit waterlogged in winter. When growing hellebores on heavy clay or free draining gravel soils, add plenty of well rotted leaf mould or other organic matter to the soil prior to planting.
