Magnolia ‘Pink Perfection’ is a stunning variety, that is ready to flower from April to June. It generates masses of large pale pink blooms, that decorate an ornamental, multi-stemmed growing habit of fresh green foliage. Plant in a sunny or semi shaded position that recieves a minimum of 4-6 hours of sunshine per day and is sheltered from cold winds and hard spring frosts. Suitable for acid soils only that are rich, moist and well-drained. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply. Magnolia plants establish quicker when their roots are shaded. Following planting, apply a mulch of rotted bark chips, manure or garden compost, taking care not to mound it around the stem of the plant. When growing in a patio container use a blend of ericaceous compost mixed with John Innes No. 3.
