This hardy perennial is a staple for patio pots, borders and containers. It boasts a profusion of golden-bronze foliage, that forms in slender leaflets all year round. Easy to care for and happy in direct sunlight, be sure to incorporate your Carex into those dull corners for extra year-round colour. It will grow in height and spread to 100cm and you will receive 1 x 7.5 litre pot. A striking species for prairie borders where it can reach a good height of up to 1m (3’) with maturity. Carex testacea forms a dense clump of grassy foliage that slowly transforms from olive-green in summer to a rich orange-bronze in autumn. Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants.
