‘Appleblossom’ is a gorgeous Geranium, that is ready to bloom from May until August. It generates an abundance of baby pink, saucer shaped flowers, that each feature deep pink prominent veining. They beautifully decorate a clump forming habit of finely cut, deep green foliage and provide extra garden interest throughout the colder months when its leaflets become edged with red. Great for planting within rockeries, cottage gardens and using as attractive ground cover, keep positioned in direct sunlight and watch it thrive to a height of 20cm, along with a spread of 45cm. This drought-defying little Geranium boasts both pretty pastel flowers and attractive foliage.

These bareroot plants are lifted from the nursery field when dormant, and sent to you in late autumn or spring for planting. They often look dead on arrival, but they are just resting in the dormant period and will establish quickly for a strong start in the garden come spring.

Plant bareroots at the earliest opportunity following delivery. If conditions prevent immediate planting, set roughly into loose soil or a pot of compost (‘heeling in’) to protect the roots. The growth points of most bare root perennials should be set about an inch below the soil surface.

Plant Geranium sanguineum in any well drained soil, in sun. Water well to settle the soil around the roots. Water regularly during establishment phase. Plants are drought tolerant once fully established.
