Juniperus horizontalis ‘Monber’ or known by its marketing name Juniperus horizontalis Icee Blue is a dense, prostrate, evergreen shrub with elliptic, silvery-blue-green foliage that turns to plummy-bronze shades during the winter when the temperature really drops. Perfect for ground cover it will give you an evergreen carpet with little to no maintenance. Height 20-30cm.
Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
