The Basalt Triple pendant light by Tala is the British lighting brand’s contemporary take on eye-catching chandeliers: the luminaire consists of three metal pendants and Tala’s own Basalt bulbs that hang in a cluster from a sleek, black ceiling canopy.
The Basalt Triple luminaire’s three irregular hexagonal pendants are made of lost-wax casted steel and complemented by elongated, similarly angular bulbs whose frosted matte surface softens the light in a gentle, pleasant manner. Designed to display and underline its manufacturing methods, the luminaire’s lost-wax casted, textured finish has not been polished on its vertical sides. Additionally, the spot where the molten metal entered the mould is covered by a Tala logo as a subtle nod to the casting technique used.
The Basalt Triple cluster pendant will light up any stairwell or living space in a distinctive, sophisticated style. The luminaire can even be placed over a dining or coffee table, as the cords can be cut to the desired length. Tala recommends that the installation of this lighting fixture is performed by a qualified electrician.
