‘Peve Minaret’ is a superb Taxodium, that is much loved for its dwarf, compact growing habit. Ideal for boggy soils and moist borders, it works well also as a great addition into alpine and low maintenance themed gardens. It’s fine, deep green leaflets will later transform to a gorgeous shade of copper and will brighten up even the smallest of gardens. Keep positioned in dappled shade and watch it thrive to a height of 2m, along with a spread of 1m. If you don’t have the space for its colossal cousin then Taxodium distichum ‘Pévé Minaret’ is a far more manageable option. This dwarf Swamp Cyprus reaches just 2m (78″) tall, making it perfectly proportioned for rockeries, borders and even large containers. Grow Taxodium in reliably moist, even boggy soil. Swamp cypress requires and non-alkaline soil. Choose a shaded, sheltered position.
