In May, the Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum ‘Pink Beauty’ enchants with its flattened lacecap flower clusters, set against a backdrop of deep green foliage veined with rich texture. The blossoms begin as white and gradually transition to a soft pink. When female plants are successfully pollinated, small clusters of red fruit may appear, eventually ripening to black. This resilient deciduous shrub thrives in mixed borders and woodland gardens. Later in the year, as the leaves shift to a striking reddish-purple before falling, they further enhance the plant’s visual appeal. Height: up to 4m (13′). Spread: 3m (10′).
