‘Repens’ is a superb new Lonicera, that is ready to bloom from May until September. It produces bundles of fragrant, white-purple flowers, that gradually fade to a pastel yellow. Topping a vigorous growing habit of fresh green foliage and later followed by bundles of glossy black berries, enjoy watching it sprawl along unsightly walls and fences, as well as adding some drama to lifeless cottage, cut flower and woodland gardens. Keep in semi shade and watch it thrive to a height of 6m, along with a spread of 5m. This vigorous honeysuckle is usefully evergreen, providing all-year-round cover and screening. Grow Lonicera in any moist, well drained garden soil. Performs best in semi-shaded position although will tolerate full sun. Lonicera ‘Repens’ can be invasive and so should be managed with care, avoiding the spread of plant material into the wider environment.
