Echinacea purpurea is a wonderful new Echinacea, that is ready to bloom from July until October. It generates an abundance of bright pink flowers, that top a bushy growing habit of fresh green foliage. A superb coastal, wildlife and cut flower gardening scheme addition, keep positioned in direct sunlight, where it will thrive to a height of 150cm and will spread to around 60cm. Grow echinacea plants in a sunny or semi shaded position on moist, well drained soil. Coneflowers prefer a deep, fertile soil and will benefit from the addition of some well rotted manure or garden compost to soil, prior to planting.
