‘Wallichiana’ is a superb Pinus, that boasts masses of vibrant blue-grey, tassel-like needles. Adored for its elegant pyramidal form, this hardy tree would make a strong stand-alone shrub, as well as a great focal point in cottage, coastal and wildlife landscapes. Easy to care for and textural in appearance, be sure to position in direct sunlight and watch it thrive to a maximum height of 15m, along with a spread of 10m. An exceptionally beautiful specimen conifer, forming an elegant pyramidal tree with cascading, tassel-like needles and attractive cones.  Grow Pines in any well-drained soil in full sun. Most Pines will tolerate dry conditions and exposed locations once established. Alternatively grow smaller species in large containers, using a good soil-based compost mix.
