This stunning Japanese Maple is a popular shrub worldwide! Suitable for adding to woodlands, low maintenance gardens, pretty patio areas and using as a specimen plant, this Acer is incredibly versatile and makes a bold statement wherever placed. From April until June, you will witness a flurry of blooms, they contrast beautifully against its elegant foliage, coloured in corals, yellows and roaring reds, before its delicate leaflets fall for Autumn. It will develop in height and spread to around 8m, it enjoys dappled shade to grow and is very easy to care for. It will add a splash of colour, ornamental decoration and drama to dull outdoor spaces. Grow Acer palmatum trees in any moist, fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. It is quite important to give plants shelter from strong winds which can scorch the leaves.
