Place your Ficus macrocarpa bonsai in a bright spot indoors, in sun or part shade, away from draughts. Water using room-temperature water when the top of the compost begins to dry out, avoiding letting the roots sit in water. The plant will also enjoy being misted. As it grows, trim the foliage as necessary to keep the desired shape. Repot into a slightly larger pot every 1-2 years using a free-draining potting mix.
