The Hotbin Mini Composter is a compact mini version of this innovative new composter that is gaining popularity with gardeners at an incredible pace! Using hot-compost technology, the contents reach temperatures of 40-60C, allowing the incredibly quick compost producing usable compost in just 30-90 days – that’s 32 times faster than a traditional compost bin. (The length of time can vary on quality and quantity of waste and the outside temperature)
With a 100 litre capacity, it is ideal for households of 1-2 people producing a minimum of 2.5kg of waste per week.
Cleverly designed as an insulated, sealed unit, with a lid that keeps the heat in, and a built-in bio-filter to prevent the escape of unpleasant smells. The heat will also destroy fly larvae, pathogens and weed seed to prevent contamination around your garden.
Due to its hot compost technology, the Hotbin can compost a wide range of waste. Add leaves, grass clippings, garden waste, vegetable peelings and even cooked meat and small bones!
Remove compost quickly and easily via the large hatch panel. A built in tap allows the removal of leachates in liquid form which can be made into plant fertiliser.

Also available is the new Hotbin Plinth that raises your HOTBIN off the ground by 125mm (5 inches) providing easy access to slide a suitable receptacle underneath the HOTBIN tap when draining the liquid fertiliser.
