‘Golden Ball’ is a wonderful new Pittosporum, that is much loved for its golden-yellow foliage, that forms in a beautiful spherical habit. A popular choice for structural hedging also, keep positioned in direct sunlight and watch it progress to a height and spread of 1.2m. Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Golden Ball’ forms a pleasing, dome-like shape even without regular trimming, growing to just over a metre with maturity. The small leaves are yellow when young, maturing to yellow green as they age. Grow Pittosporum in any rich,fertile but well drained soil. Choose a position with shelter from cold winter winds in sun or semi shade – the best leaf colour will be produced when grown in full sun.
