‘Bampton’ is a stunning Verbena, that is ready to bloom from June until October. It produces a profusion of lavender-pink flowers, that perch neatly upon lengthy slender green stems. Popular for its airy, clump forming habit, its elegant form works well at the back of borders and flower beds, as well as incorporating into cottage, gravel and wildlife themed gardens. Plant in full sun and watch it flourish to a height of 100cm, along with a spread of 60cm. The slender, purple-green stems of this Vervain are complimented by delicate flowers spikes of tiny lavender-pink flowers throughout summer. Verbena officinalis var. grandiflora ‘Bampton’ forms a sprawling, light and airy clump that makes a useful addition to sunny borders. Pot up plugs and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions until plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting out in their final positions. Plant Verbena outdoors in a sheltered position in any moist, well drained soil in full sun.
