Lonicera Blue Velvet is a compact variety of edible honeysuckle, also known as Honeyberry, perfect for smaller spaces or container planting on patios. In spring, it produces creamy white flowers, followed by sweet, flavourful berries in early summer. These delicious berries can be enjoyed fresh, used in baked goods, or made into jam. Packed with antioxidants and vitamins, they are as nutritious as they are tasty. This variety grows to a height of 150-200cm. Grow honeyberry plants in any moist well drained soil in full sun. Honeyberries are self fertile but planting them in close proximity to one another will improve pollination and increase your crop of tasty fruits.
