Redcurrant ‘Summer Pearls Red’ boasts large, plump, ruby-like fruits which appear on pendulous springs in summer. Redcurrant ‘Summer Pearls Red’ is a reliable variety that produces an abundance of fruits which will fast become a favourite in your allotment or kitchen garden.Height and spread: 120cm (47″). Redcurrants prefer a position in full sun but will tolerate semi shade. Shelter from cold winds and late spring frosts as these conditions may damage the flowers, and reduce the yield of fruit later in the year. Grow redcurrants in rich, moist, well drained soil.
