This intriguing Leatherleaf Sedge is great for adding some texture, movement and drama into your outdoor space this season. It produces a profusion of bronze, evergreen leaflets, that are borne in arching mounds in a clump forming habit. Generating small flowers from July until September, this Carex delivers on lots of garden interest and remains a key focal point to landscapes all year round. Incorporate into low maintenance and cottage gardens, as well as adding into patio pots and lifeless borders. Position in full sun and watch it develop in height and spread to 50cm. Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants, use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture.
