‘Everillo’ is a gorgeous Carex, that is much loved for its slender leaflets, shaded in a vibrant lime green with golden tips. Perfect for creating texture and adding colour into borders, patio pots and urban themed landscapes, be sure to position in semi shade where it will thrive and beautifully cascade! Developing in height and spread to 40cm, this hardy perennial would also be ideal for planting in rockeries and using as attractive ground cover. With its loose, arching growth, Carex oshimensis ‘Everillo’ is ideal for draping over the edges of patio containers, and for edging raised beds and borders. This perennial grass forms spectacular evergreen clumps with a lax, cascading habit – each blade is chartreuse green, fading to pale gold at its tip. Small, and somewhat insignificant, brown flower spikes nonetheless enhance this vibrant display in late spring. Height and spread: 40cm (16″). Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants. Use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture when planting into pots.
