‘Giggles Green’ is a superb new Gooseberry, that is ready to harvest from July until September. It produces high yields of plump juicy fruits, that are lime green in colour, along with a delicious flavour. Perfect for incorporating into a range of different culinary dishes, be sure to grow in kitchen gardens or allotment areas and keep positioned in semi shade. Happy to progress to a height and spread of 120cm, enjoy its multi-branching habit and fresh green foliage. Plant gooseberry bushes in an open sunny position on any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate a generous amount of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Remove any shoots or dormant buds from the base of the plant as these will produce unwanted suckers later on. Goosberries should be planted at a distance of 1.5m (5′) apart at their original depth which is indicated by a mark left on the stem by the nursery soil.
