Our vibrant ‘Summer Fun Collection’ is ideal for creating a tropical vibe in your outdoor space this season! Blooming from June until September, you can count on this showy mix to deliver on intense flower power. You will witness an abundance of huge, pink, red, yellow, white, orange and magenta blooms, that top a compact, yet bushy growing habit of deep green foliage. Great for planting in patio pots, cut flower and exotic themed landscapes, be sure to keep positioned in direct sunlight, where it will slowly progress to a height of 45cm, along with a spread of 25cm. The Joy series of Asiatic lilies are perfect for container growing. Compact, with a strong, robust habit and high flower count they come in a fabulous range of bright colours. Asiatic lilies prefer a moist, free draining, neutral to acid soil that is rich in organic matter. Prior to planting, add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil to give your lilies the best start. When growing lilies in containers, use a loam based compost such as John Innes No.2. Lily bulbs should be planted at a depth of approximately 3 times their own height and 15cm (6″) apart. Planting deeply helps to protect the bulb during particularly hot periods. Choose a sheltered, sunny position where lilies will grow with their heads in the sun and their roots in the shade.
