‘Doreen’ is a wonderful Paeonia that blooms from June until August. It produces bundles of huge bright pink flowers, that each feature a central stamen of bright lemon and exquisite scent. Beautiful when positioned in a cottage or cut flower garden, your Peony will enjoy semi shade to progress and will develop in height to 90cm, along with a spread of 50cm. This old peony cultivar has classically beautiful looks. Bare roots should be planted at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Grow peonies in a sunny or semi shaded position on fertile, moist, well drained soil. Peony plants prefer a heavy soil that is rich in organic matter. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost prior to planting. Plant herbaceous peonies so that the top of the crown is just 5cm (2”) below the soil surface, taking care not to plant too deeply as this may prevent or delay peonies from flowering.
