The Bluebell Creeper ‘Ultra Blue’ is a striking evergreen climber that flourishes from June to October. It features beautiful clusters of indigo-blue blooms that elegantly drape over its slender, fresh green leaves. Preferring full sun, this plant is perfect for brightening up patios, conservatories, walls, and fences. Its semi-hardy, deciduous nature makes it an excellent choice for trellises, obelisks, and pergolas, where its twisting stems add visual interest and a captivating display. Reaching up to 2 meters in height and spreading 60 cm, this Sollya brings a stunning touch to any garden space.

The Bluebell Creeper is half hardy and requires a minimum temperature of -5°C (23°F), so it is best grown over an obelisk in a patio container that can be moved indoors for the winter. Alternatively grow it in a warm conservatory or heated greenhouse. Pot up Sollya plants into containers of loam based compost such as John Innes No.2.

In very mild areas, try growing Sollya heterophylla outdoors where it looks superb twining through shrubs or against sheltered walls and fences. Plant in rich fertile, well drained soil in a sheltered position in sun or semi-shade.
