Mattiazzi’s Oto console table fits seamlessly into hallways and other narrow spaces, and it functions just as well as a tall side table or a plant stand beside a window. The console is crafted from sustainably grown African okoumé wood, also known as Gaboon mahogany, which is a popular material for its lightweight properties and often used in instruments and boat building.
The Oto collection was created by the Berlin-based design firm Studio Œ, which playfully incorporates classical architectural structures while blurring the boundaries between different functions of furniture. As a result, the wooden pieces of the Oto collection allow users to decide their final function. The sleek design makes them space-saving multi-purpose pieces that effortlessly suit spaces of all sizes. Despite their graceful profiles, the pieces radiate boldness and uniqueness, further emphasized by the skillfully curved joints in the sturdy leg structures.
