PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Complete with the words ‘PULL’ written clearing along the vertical axis, this finger door plate has been crafted from cast iron and left to age and form an antique finish. Complete with four pre-drilled holes in each of the finger plate corners, it makes for easy installation to any door. Simply place next to handles and remind, customers, staff and visitors to pull rather than push the door.
This product has been designed to age naturally and develop its own patina over time. For authenticity, this product is supplied unlacquered and has, instead, been expertly hand waxed. This wax serves as a basic protective layer against moisture however, if exposed to the outdoor elements for prolonged periods of time, this item will develop a surface rust. If required, the wax layer can be removed using a light oil such as WD40 with a fine-grade wire wool and then re-finished with a metal-based paint.
