Description
The Hiti floor lamp from FDB Møbler boasts a minimalist design strongly based on the Danish design tradition but with nuances from modern times and overseas cultures. The luminaire, designed by Philip Bro and Dögg Guðmundsdóttir, consists of an opal glass shade carried by a wooden structure reminiscent of classic Danish furniture designs.
Both designers are based in Denmark but were born elsewhere: Philip Bro in Australia and Guðmundsdóttir in Iceland. The distinctive design of the Hiti luminaire can be seen as a combination of a modern expression, timeless Danish design and influences from the birthplaces of the designers.
