‘Discovery’ is a great hardy tree that is ready to eat in August. It produces high yields of juicy fruits that bear bright red smooth skins and fresh green leaflets. Perfect for adding to a border, kitchen garden, allotment area or patio pot, your Apple tree will add lots of ornamental value wherever placed and surprise you with a flurry of blooms from April until June. Ideal for making juice, adding to pies and eating fresh from the tree! Plant apple trees in any well drained soil in a sheltered sunny position. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the planting hole and drive the stake into the ground to support the tree. Staking after planting may result in damage to the root ball. Plant fruit trees at their original soil level and firm them into the ground. Fasten the tree to the stake using a tree tie, and water well.
