This wonderful Japanese Spurge is just what you need for some attractive ground cover. Blooming from June until July, you will witness an abundance of spiky small white flowers, that cloak a dense matt forming habit of glossy green foliage. Fabulous for low maintenance and woodland gardening schemes, be sure to position in semi shade so it can thrive to a height of 20cm, along with a maximum spread of 120cm. Japanese Spurge is the perfect groundcover shrub, and is also ideal for growing in areas between trees and shrubs to stop the spread of weeds. This mat-forming evergreen perennial has interesting rosettes of green-toothed, glossy leaves which cluster at the tips with short upright branches. Pachysandra terminalis produces erect spikes of small white flowers in early summer, and with hardly any aftercare, once this oriental plant is allowed to spread wherever you let it, you can cover any parts of the garden with ease and enjoy the early summertime blooms. Height: 20cm (8″). Spread: 150cm (59″). Grow Japanese Spurge in any well-drained soil, apart from very dry, and position in full or partial shade.
