‘Eclipse’ is a stunning new Coprosma, that is much adored for its petite glossy leaflets, shaded in a rich purple with dipped pink edges. Forming in a compact, upright habit, you can count on this vibrant Mirror Plant to add structure and texture wherever planted. Ideal for growing in coastal, alpine and cottage gardening schemes, be sure to also work into patio pots, use as attractive hedging and position in conservatories. It will enjoy semi shade to grow and develop in height to 50cm, along with a spread of 30cm. Coprosma repens ‘Eclipse’ boasts small, glossy dark purple leaves with bright pink edges. As the season progresses, the colours become ever more intense. In mild locations, grow Coprosma plants outdoors in moist, well drained, non-alkaline soil. Choose a position in sun or semi-shade with shelter from cold winds. Coprosma tolerates salt laden air and makes a good choice for coastal gardens, but will require winter protection during cold periods. In frost-prone locations it is best grown in a patio container and moved to frost free location during the winter months.
