Hollyhock Chaters Doubles
This variety develops architectural spires of ruffled, double blooms that you find towering over summer borders. It complements your garden borders with structure, height and an eruption of colour. These cottage garden perennials are much-loved for their saucer-shaped blooms which are a magnet for bees and butterflies while also being able to create eye-catching cut flowers for indoor arrangements. The flowers are edible too and are a delight when added to the top of salads for a healthy, tasty treat. Height: 200cm (79″). Spread: 60cm (24″).
Plant out Hollyhocks in sunny borders in fertile, well drained soil. Choose a position that is sheltered from strong winds. Space hollyhock plants at least 60cm (24″) apart to improve air circulation and help prevent hollyhock rust.
