The Akademia chair by Nikari is a harmonious and refined oak wood chair designed by Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela, also known as Studio Kaksikko. The balanced and organic appeal of the Akademia chair draws from Scandinavian design heritage, Japanese aesthetics, and the simple, honest Shaker style. Characterized by softly rounded shapes, the Akademia chair can be used by the dining table or desk, or as an individual side chair in any room. As its name suggests, the Akademia chair has academic origins, resulting from Wesley Walters’ Master’s thesis at Aalto University in Helsinki.
Nikari products are made in Finland using only certified wood.
