PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Oriental dragon features in many legendary Chinese mythologies and folklore and although they don’t have wings, as depicted in Western cultures, they are still able to fly. According to ancient descriptions, these type of dragons are formed by 9 different animals; the head of a camel, the ears of a cow, the horns of a deer, a serpentine neck, the stomach of a clam, scales of a carp, eagle claws, paws of a tiger and eyes of a rabbit. With all these different animals combined, it certainly makes for an interesting feature in any garden setting. Crafted from high quality steel and cast iron and finished in a sleek midnight black finish, this free standing weathervane comes complete with fletched arrow, directional arms and ground spikes within the central pole for stability and support. Ideal for placement in the grass or within flowerbeds, this free standing weathervane is ideal for those who want the beauty of a weathervane but do not want to drill and fix to walls.
Please note: All free standing weathervanes come complete with an integrated 15cm length four-pronged ground spike for stability. If your ground is a little soft, the base can easily be ground anchored or cemented into position where additional support is required.
For outdoor items, weathering may occur over time as the item is exposed to wind, rain and other natural elements. Please see our product maintenance guides to help you protect your product.
