Skagerak’s Vester chair, designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, is an understatedly elegant piece of wooden furniture. Developed originally for the Danish coastal hotel, Svinkløv Badehotel, Vester delights with legs that make their way up into the backrest, a beautiful oiled oak body, and extraordinary proportions. Merging oak with brass details, the Vester chair makes for an alluring yet comfortable addition to any surrounding. Thanks to a transverse brass rod behind the backrest, pulling out the chair becomes a distinctly stylish experience. Skagerak’s delightful Vester chair was awarded Furniture of the year at the 2020 Danish Design Awards.
