Tomato Seeds – Bloody Butcher
One of the earliest to ripen in the greenhouse, it’s also one of the tastiest!
The Bloody Butcher is an old German Heritage variety, that will produce vigorous tomato plants with prolific crops of red, golf ball-sized fruits with a dark ‘blood-red’ juice inside. It will be one of the first tomatoes to ripen in my greenhouse every year, and almost the last to harvest as well, even in cool conditions! Making it perfect for UK gardens.
Yielding handfuls of these gorgeous tomato fruits, you’ll have plenty of uses for the Bloody Butcher. Its fruits have a proper tomato taste which works well in sandwiches, salads and added to sauces. Cordon variety, harvesting late June-early October. Height 151-200cm (59-79″); spread 51-60cm (20-24″).
