‘Holland’ is a superb Viburnum, that is much adored for its glossy, deep green foliage and large spreading habit. Producing bundles of fragrant white flowers from May until June, as the colder months begin you will witness each bloom transform into a gorgeous glossy red berry. Easy to care for and great for adding some texture and drama to lifeless borders, be sure to incorporate into cottage, woodland, wildlife and low maintenance themed landscapes where it will really create an impact. Happy to grow in semi shade, watch it flourish to a height and spread of 4m. A semi-evergreen variety with heavily veined, dark green foliage and a spreading rounded habit. Viburnum rhytidophyllum ‘Holland’ was the first named hybrid from parents V. rhytidophyllum and V. lantana. Grow Viburnum plants in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any moderately fertile, well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Viburnum shrubs at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
