Opened as a motorsport venue in 2004, the Bahrain International Circuit has been used for a variety of competitions, including drag racing, GP2 series and F1 Grand Prix. In 2014, the track hosted its first ever Grand Prix under the lights race to celebrate 10 years at the circuit. Since then, each race has been held at night. Featuring several long straights and tight hairpin corners, this racetrack is iconic in its shape and high speeds.
