At Black Country Metalworks we continually and consciously strive to use recycled materials where we can. With this beautifully detailed quirky owl sculpture we do just that! Handcrafted using recycled petrol tanks and metal parts to create this incredibly intricate and stunning piece.
A truly unique piece due to the handcrafted nature and quirkiness of each sculpture. Perfect for those who love these gorgeous creatures or simply want to add some sustainable sculpture to their home.
Crafted from metal parts for the body of the owl this steampunk inspired design features a contrasting back to create the ‘wings’ from a colourful recycled petrol tank. The choice of a petrol tank not only works with the shape of this well loved bird but also symbolises how we must re-use to save our planet and the wildlife on it. Once full of fossil fuel we have given this petrol tank a new life for a more sustainable future. We do not believe in using single use materials as we must preserve our single use planet!
