‘Hidcote’ is a wonderful new Hypericum, that is ready to bloom from June until September. It generates bundles of five-petalled, bright yellow flowers, that top a bushy growing habit of fresh green foliage. Easy to care for and vibrant in colour, be sure to incorporate into cottage and low maintenance gardening schemes, as well as using as attractive ground cover. Position in partial shade and watch it thrive to a height and spread of 1.2m. Plant St. John’s Wort in any garden soil and in a position that is sheltered from cold winds. Hypericum is a versatile plant coping well in poor, dry soils and even thriving in deep shade.
