Enjoy Long-Lasting Lilac Blooms and Fragrance Unlike most lilacs that bloom for just a few weeks in spring, Lilac ‘Bloomerang Pink Perfume’ offers an extended display of soft pink, highly fragrant flowers from spring through summer, and again from late summer until the first frost—only taking a brief rest during the hottest part of the season. Its panicles of fragrant blooms attract butterflies and sit above a neat, compact growth habit. With a naturally mounding form, this hardy shrub fits easily into most gardens without becoming too large. Perfect for creating fragrant cut flower arrangements, this lilac reaches a height and spread of 150cm (59″). Pot up lilac plants and grow them on until large enough to plant out in their final positions. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. If received in the autumn, over-winter Syringa plants in a sheltered position, either in a cold frame, cool greenhouse or porch, ready for planting out in spring. Transplant lilac plants into rich fertile, well drained, neutral or alkaline soil in full sun.
